InFamous: Second Son | Enjoy Your Power Trailer

If you’re a PS4 owner who isn’t excited about March 21st, you might want to get your head examined.

That’s the day that InFamous: Second Son hits store shelves and the PlayStation Network, and Sony has just released a new teaser trailer (seen above).

For the uninitiated, InFamous: Second Son picks up where InFamous 2 left off, but in a different locale – Seattle – with a different protagonist named Delsin. The events of InFamous 2 have caused those worried about super-powered beings to start clamping down on everyone’s freedoms, and you get the opportunity to either prove those in power wrong… or prove them right.

InFamous: Second Son will feature new abilities to the series, with Delsin confirmed to have powers both smoke and neon based. The open-world gameplay remains intact: there are a series of story missions and a collection of side missions for you to complete at will, and the series’ Karma system returns to determine whether you have access to “heroic” or “evil” missions.

As this is the first big first-party exclusive for the PlayStation 4 in 2014, and it launches a mere 10 days after Microsoft-exclusive Titanfall, Sony is under a lot of pressure to turn out a heroically worthy performance. Be sure to check out our review of InFamous: Second Son soon after launch.
