Putting their money where their mouth is.
It’s what the team at Humble Bundle does, and has done for years. Last week Humble Games announced that they’d be putting up $1 million to fund Black game developers. This time they look to raise money to support organizations that fight for racial justice. Typically, this vague notion would be sufficient for the masses, yet Humble Bundle goes into the specifics of where exactly your dollars will land:
“For example, providing legal representation and assistance, protecting and expanding civil rights, and educating the public on racial injustice and slavery”
Hey, if you need a little more than a social cause to get behind, you’re in luck because this bundle has some big hitters at a ludicrously low price. You pay what you want for the bundle but if you pay $30 or more you will unlock over $1,200 worth of games, books, and comics. The following are some featured titles within the bundle:
NBA 2K20
Spelunky
Football Manager 2020
FTL
BioShock Remastered
This War of Mine: Final Cut
Age of Wonders III
Overlord II
Darkest Dungeon: The Shieldbreaker
Attack on Titan Anthology
Twelve Years A Slave Novel
And Shaft: A Complicated Man (Yessir!)
Intrigued? I know I am. You can find it all here for more details.
