Holiday Headset Round-Up

Whether it is because of working from home or gaming, many of us have had to upgrade our setups. We’ve got our hands on a lot of tech this year and these are just a few headset recommendations that the nerd in your life will love this holiday season. 

Turtle Beach Stealth Series Gen 2 

The Turtle Beach Stealth series headsets are some of the most popular on the market. They have a great price and great sound quality. The Gen 2 versions of these headsets have been improved to be sleeker and more comfortable. The 700 series also have a cooling gel in the ear cups to keep you comfortable during long play sessions.  There have been some great updates over the last generation versions of these headsets. With a more sleek design, the Stealth Series headsets are bound to stay at the top of people’s list this year.

Roccat Wired and Wireless Headsets 

If you haven’t heard, Roccat is a German pc accessories company that has been acquired by Turtle Beach. The Roccat Elo and Air 7.1 headsets would be a great addition to any gamer’s setup. The Elo is a wired headset that works with all consoles and PC. The Air 7.1 is a wireless headset made for PCs with tons of customization options in its proprietary app. It also sports 7.1 surround sound for a great listening experience. Logitech G Pro Wireless  

This PC headset offers amazing performance and quality. The Logitech G Pro WIreless sports leather ear cups that feel amazing and are replaceable with the included nylon cups if your ears tend to get warm. The integrated Blue microphone technology is what really sets this headset apart from the crowd.  This is the headset for those looking for something very sleek and not overly flashy. Everything here feels and sounds very premium. Using the Logitech hub, you can tweak both your listening and recording experience to perfection. This will fit perfectly in anyone’s pc set up.

Astro A50 Wireless Headset 

Astro headsets are a fan favorite. The Astro A50 has been updated with a new, more sleek charging base and works with both consoles and PC. The Astro Command Center lets you set up multiple sound profiles and the A50s are compatible with Dolby Atmos. With a firmware update, this headset is also compatible with the new consoles. If you’re on the PS5, make sure you get the free adapter. Along with being extremely comfortable, what more could you ask for? 

Lucid Sound LS10P 

Lucid Sound is the new cool kid on the block. Their headsets are well built and affordable. The LS10P is a wired headset for the PlayStation console but there are Xbox versions as well. With celebs like Snoop Dog backing the brand, there is a certain ‘Cool’ factor that comes with purchasing the product. If you’re looking for a headset that performs well and doesn’t break the budget, check out Lucid Sound and their line up.   

JBL Quantum One Headset 

JBL is the newest player in the gaming headset market but their years of experience in audio really shines here. The JBL Quantum One headset delivers great audio performance and a unique spatial audio experience when paired with a PC. This is one of the best headsets that we have reviewed this year. If it is within your budget, you won’t be disappointed.
