Here's your chance to be in the All Points Bulletin: Reloaded beta!

Remember when we told you that a potential buyer’s been found for All Points Bulletin? Well Gamers First did in fact acquire APB last year and dubbed it All Points Bulletin: Reloaded.

“APB was a game that had several exceptional features and some brilliant ideas, even though it was plagued by some initial balance and monetization issues,” Bjorn Book-Larsson, CTO and COO of GamersFirst, said in a statement. “We want to take all the unique features of this title, such as its unparalleled character, weapon and car customization systems, and convert the game to a true free-to-play game.”

“We are deep into the planning and early execution stages for this next chapter of APB and we will share more details in the near future,” Book-Larsson continued. “In order to put gamers first we will also actively engage the community in many aspects of all the planned changes.”

Editors Ghost and DaJeyMan have been getting their hands dirty in the city of San Paro, and now you can join them! We have 25 keys to the city that’ll give you front row access in the beta selection, and here’s how they’ll be distributed:

  • 10 keys to 10 random “Like”ers – www.facebook.com/gamefanatics
  • 10 keys to 10 random followers -@thegamefanatics
  • 5 keys to 5 random “commenters” -comment below

There’s no limit to the number of codes you can win, so if you win extras, share with your friends! We’ll be giving them out randomly throughout the next few days, so get hyped!

How to use your APB: Reloaded beta key

To redeem your APB: Reloaded closed beta key, all you need to do is the following:

  1. Go to https://www.gamersfirst.com/register/index.php and create or log in to your existing GamersFirst account.
  2. Visit https://www.gamersfirst.com/apb-beta-application/ and input your Beta key and follow the directions.
  3. From there, you are now queued-up for the next round of beta participants.  Given the popularity of the game, we are activating accounts in multiple waves. This means that it may take anywhere from 1 day to 3 weeks to get your account activated.  Please remember, closed beta is a testing phase of the game and we are attempting to test various aspects of the game as well as location of the players.  In the meantime, check out the APB: Reloaded forums and follow us on Facebook and Twitter so that you can engage with the APB: Reloaded community.
