The original Killzone launched on November 2nd, 2004 on the PlayStation 2. This week marks its 10th anniversary and developer Guerilla Games is celebrating in style.
To help celebrate the occasion, Guerilla has detailed the following upcoming content:
- An all new expansion pack for Killzone Shadow Fall, featuring the following:
- Two new multiplayer character skins
- Two new OWL skins
- TWO new voice packs
- Two new player card icon packs
- New crosshairs customization (I didn’t even know this was a thing)
- Events in honor of the franchise’s 10th anniversary
- 10th anniversary livestreams on the PlayStation Twitch TV channel
- Tournaments for Killzone Shadow Fall and Mercenary
- An art exposition on November 21st
- Killzone related giveaways
- Free stuff! Everybody likes free stuff, right? Right!
- New ‘The Academy’ multiplayer map for Killzone Shadow Fall
- Two New cooperative maps for Killzone Shadow Fall
The expansion pack, which is now available for Season Pass holders, also received a trailer
