Guild Wars 2 is the next MMO everyone is talking about (They do tend to come in fads). Ask your average fan, and they’ll tell you it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread. And what can I say, it does have some things going for it. Most notably, at the moment, is consideration on the part of NC Soft that there will be a console release for the title. It is said that the console version is unlikely to launch along side the PC, but having the game be console accessible is something that very few MMOs have done (DCU Online and FFXI are the ones that come to mind), and it’s definitely a great way to reach a wider audience.
