GOG.com has announced the addition of System Shock 2 to its library of titles available for download. For those of you that don’t know what GOG.com is, think of it as an alternative to Steam. A site where players can buy, rate, and discuss a wide variety of some of gaming’s most classic titles. System Shock 2 is a big deal, not only because of the attractive price point of $9.99 (you can’t get much better than that, fellas), but also because of its innovative combination of in depth story telling, fast paced FPS combat, and RPG-style customization.
This title seems to be available for Windows, regardless of whether you’re running 7, 8, Vista, or even XP. You can pick it all up here.
