Get The Business In The New Yakuza 0 Trailer

The prequel to SEGA’s Yakuza series won’t be out until January 2017. To further drum up excitement for Yakuza 0, SEGA has announced a special retail edition and released a new trailer for the hungry fans.

Those who preorder Yakuza 0 will receive the “Business Edition.” This limited item comes with the physical retail copy of Yakuza 0, a stainless steel business card holder and three business cards pertaining to the world of Yakuza.

The stainless steel card holder has a stylish design that features both playable characters’ symbols; Kiryu’s dragon and Hajima’s ‘Hanya’ or demon. This business card holder is definitely for the gangster inside all of us.

And what’s the use of having such a debonair business card holder if there aren’t business cards inside? Thankfully, SEGA includes three business cards to make people feel more legit about their business: Kazuma Kiryu’s Tachibana Real Estate, Goro Majima’s Cabaret Grand, and a card from the hostesses at the cabaret club Sunshine. Pulling out a business card from a case like this is sure to make people feel like a boss at functions.

Money, Power and Status… obtaining this trifecta is the driving force within organized crime. In Yakuza 0, Kazuma Kiryu is all about climbing the ranks to achieve his goals. With the newly released trailer depicting the events that propel Kiryu into the fray, Yakuza 0 clearly shows its penance for over-the-top action.

For the first time ever since Yakuza’s debut, Goro Majima has finally become a playable character!

“Embrace the Mad Dog: For the first time in a numbered game, long-time NPC Goro Majima is now playable. With his own fighting style, abilities, and his penchant for turning sleaze into profit, stepping into the role of Yakuza’s most eccentric character will provide some eye-opening insight.”

Thanks to SEGA of America, Yakuza 0 is being localized to the Americas as well as Europe. With a release date scheduled for January 24, 2017, this PlayStation 4 exclusive has a retail price of $59.99.

And to quell the recent rumor of Yakuza 0 possibly coming to PC, SEGA has offered the following statement: “All that is confirmed and all that players should expect is a PlayStation 4 release. There is no PC version in production.”
