Gelid announced a few weeks ago its revision of its popular CPU cooler Tranquillo. This revision improves on what made the Tranquillo a good CPU cooler. The tower constellation 4 heat pipe designs that were used in the first version of Tranquillo traveled over to the second one, but this time they optimized it in a way that wouldn’t conflict with any components on the motherboard. Gelid also improved the clip design allowing the cooler to be mounted in 4×90 directions; along with the main cooling unit Gelid has included a silent 120mm fan with PWM (Pulse Width Module) or (Fan control speed). The fan blades were optimized to guarantee high airflow while running silently. The intelligent GELID PWM curve keeps the fan silent when no necessary cooling is needed while accelerating the fan speed whenever additional cooling is needed.
The Tranquillo Rev.2 is looking like an excellent CPU cooler for anyone in the market looking to get rid of their old stock CPU cooler. Click here for the full details of the cooler.
