On August 2nd, GaymerCon, the world’s first LGBTQ centered gaming and tech con created a Kickstarter page with the hopes of raising $25,000. Less than four days later on August 5th, GaymerCon met and surpassed their goal, and is continuing to collect more and more pledges.

With 24 days to go still, new goals such as recruiting a geek celebrity to appear at the con as the “Boss of Honor” have been introduced.
