We now know when the PS4 will hit store shelves, and have a pretty good idea what you’ll be able to play on it. Sony announced a November 15th (in North America and November 29th elsewhere) release date for their next console at Gamescom today, and showcased their love for indie developers with a stupidly large number of titles: N++, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, Volume, Wasteland Kings and Rogue Legacy are all on their way, as well as Fez, Velocity 2x and Starbound.
That’s not all – we can expect the following titles to be available at launch (or soon thereafter):
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
Battlefield 4
Call of Duty: Ghosts
DC Universe Online
Driveclub
FIFA 14
Just Dance 2014
Killzone: Shadow Fall
Knack
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes
Madden NFL 25
NBA 2K14
NBA Live 14
Skylanders: Swap Force
Tiny Brains
Warframe
Watch Dogs
Sony also says that if you buy the PS3 version of certain games, you can upgrade to the PS4 version for just $10 more.
Also announced was the ability to play just about any PS4 game on the PS Vita. So… like a more powerful Wii U but with a second screen you buy separately.
