We’ve got a new Friday The 13th Gameplay Trailer, featuring Jason as seen in the 6th movie.
While a lot of gamers were hoping for Gun Media and IllFonic to release the Friday the 13th game last Friday (a fitting Friday the 13th), Ronnie Hobbs, co-creator of Jason’s upcoming virtual shenanigans, was quick to shut down these hopes over Twitter:

However, to tide us over the yet-to-be-announced release date, Gun Media has released a new gameplay trailer featuring Jason’s design from Friday the 13th part VI. It also features a well fitting track, The Misfit’s Friday the 13th, playing in a cabin as an attempt to distract Jason. As you can see, Jason is less than impressed and decides to showcase his ninja like skills with some star-throwing action.
Friday the 13th The Game was originally scheduled to release in Fall of 2016, but was delayed to early 2017 in order to polish the game and also working on including single player content for a later release. The delay will also allow the developers to improve the game following the game’s successful beta.
