E3 2014 | The Sims 4 Trailer Shows Off Smarter Simplay

The Sims got a huge upgrade thanks to EA and their in-depth showcase of the series’ fourth installment at E3 2014. This upcoming iteration will allow players to not only create their very own living, breathing Sim character using even more creative options in character creation mode, but you’ll also be able to control their mind, body and their feelings.

While showing of some of the wildly colorful gameplay experience, Executive Producer Rachel Franklin explained The Sims 4 to the E3 audience in great detail.

Players will be able to add some personality to the Sims that they create by choosing what seems to be three different personality traits. Players can be a crazy grandma who loves cats or a short-tempered stud who happens to read books at tad more than he lifts weights. After that, you’ll be able to throw them into vibrant, event fueled communities and neighborhoods. In these areas, many of the NPC’s will either be compatible or create some level of conflict with the characters you made.

Players will even be able to add other user-created Sims and communities via the online component of the game. Injecting a lively, party character in order to strengthen the excitement of the party your Sim just threw, is way possible.

“This a deep simulation where every Sim has their own story, and they’re all connecting, colliding and influencing each others’ emotions,” Franklin said.

The Sim’s 4 is unlike anything we’ve ever made, These new smarter Sims are full of personality and humor. The possibilities when you play with life are endless.”

The Sims 4 is dropping on Sept. 2. You can check out the potential story you could play with your Sim by watching the E3 trailer below.
