E3 2014 | Secret Projects Rumored, Star Fox Coming To Wii U

Time Magazine has reported that Shigeru Miyamoto has announced they are working on bringing Star Fox to the Wii U.

However, fans will need to wait at least a year for the newest edition to the Star Fox franchise, because there’s a lot of work that needs to be done first.

The controls for the game will involve utilizing the GamePad-based controls to aim and fire the Arwing’s weapons, while using the thumbstick for controls such as acceleration, turning, and doing tricks. The game will also let you turn the Arwing into a land tank, known as the Landmaster, which is a cool feature.

The two other secret projects are being kept under better wraps, but so far they are being called Project Giant Robot and Project Guard. Project Giant Robot is said to be about Giant Robots, (you heard it here first!) which the player controls through the GamePad motion controls. The player is said to view the world through the the robot’s eyes when on the GamePad, but the world opens up and you get a bigger picture on the television. Project Guard involves players using security cameras to aid their battle against attacking robots against a fortress.

Keep it locked at The Game Fanatics and we’ll keep you posted about these projects.
