Dragon Quest VII coming to Nintendo 3DS

Dragon Quest VII is coming to the Nintendo 3DS, according to what looks to be a scan from Jump’s latest issue.

This title will be a remake of the 2000 PlayStation game and will hit Japan in February. There is no word, as far as we’ve heard, about a state side release just yet. We can only hope, right? I know I for one would love to see more of this storied series make its way to me in a language I can read. A stateside release won’t be a shocker when you consider SquarEnix’s support for Nintendo handhelds.

Dragon Quest VII was met with critical and commercial success upon its release in Japan, but U.S. reception wasn’t quite as warm.
