The latest Last of Us footage is terribly brutal, mildly creepy, slightly disturbing, and haunting… very haunting; I blame it on the noises (you’ll understand once you watch the video, I promise!) The 2 minute clip shows Joel lurking in the darkness, stealthily killing as many of the infected as he can while Ellie and Tess guide and aid him. Naughty Dog is really amping up their game (literally!) with the level of brutality and blood-thirst in The Last of Us; it’ll be refreshing to play a game that pushes the boundaries of what “gore” is, especially from a “Rated T for teen” successor such as Naughty Dog.
