Any fantasy, action, romance-based (preferably a mixture of the three) comic books you know of that you enjoyed and would recommend, I’d really appreciate. Thanks a million in advance!

i was wondering what i should use to draw, and make comic books?like my own made up doom, house of the dead, resident evil, left for dead, silent hill, etc story’s but drawing them out,and showing them to my friends, and impressing any suggestions?any will be totally appreciated, and thank you.

i mean like writing tools that have to do with ink,and please do not offer me the names of ones that make tiny ink spills, and if they get lighter then dark, and then lighter again.

I have always been a big fan of comic book characters – watching movies, television, and video games – spending hours on end researching the back stories, but have never actually read comics. I find it very intimidating with the realm of possibilities to chose from. I have become a fan of the marvel universe rather than others and would like to start there. The only experience I have with comic books was during the Civil War era, when I downloaded a torrent to make ready all comics within the event.

Like many people, the new Marvel movies (especially the Avengers) have really gotten me excited about the whole Marvel superhero series. I’m particularly a fan of Thor, since I love Norse mythology. I would love to start reading the comic books, but being completely new to the world of comic books, I have no idea where to start. Which books do I read and where do I get them? I’m enthusiastic but very clueless, and I would appreciate some direction!

Either that or what books should I look for that will help me draw good people? I want to draw like whoever illustrates the Catwoman and/or Batman comic books. Where did he/she learn?
I’m not looking for someone to do it for me yet, and I only will if I have to. No way am I tracing someone else’s work into my comics.
    I would really appreciate help.

I have the entire collection of Tintin comic books in near mint condition, all in paper back from when I was young. I now find myself desperately needing money and and wondering how much the books would be worth.

I’m new to comics and find that I’m thinking of them as books – i’ve starts Avengers vs X-men and find myself stopping at the middle page breaking it down, don’t feel natural but I feel I need to savour the comic.

How are comics meant to be read?

I am a little out of the loop of comic books but want to get back in. I have just got the Watchmen graphic novel thanks to the movie hype but what else should i get? Really interested in stuff that is less obvious and would be nice if it is current. I miss this stuff.

I’ve noticed people getting annoyed when Manga gets grouped in the same genre as comic books, or when bookstores sell anime alongside western animation.
