I’m a console guy. I’ve gamed on consoles most of my life and I stick to them. However, even I have to admit this video is pretty rad.
At the NVIDIA‘s booth, the GPU maker blew onlookers away with a triple monitor setup running at 12K. Yes, that’s three 4K Ultra HD monitors. 64″ monitors. 3 of them. All hooked into that one rig
This, of course, is something you’ll only see at shows like CES or in places like your wildest dreams. The Origin PC powering them was configured with four GeForce Titan graphics cards and 64 gigs of RAM. With those monitors included? You don’t even want to know what kind of change you’d have to drop for a battle station like that.
For those of you with the know how to wonder why NVIDIA and Origin PC didn’t opt for four GeForce GTX 780 Ti video cards? Apparently it’s because the 6GB frame buffer on the Titan cards helps with pushing 1.5 BILLION pixels per second. That’s 1 billion, 500 million pixels. Every seconds.
Yeesh…
