Xbox Live Premium Members now have access to Overwatch, the latest Content Drop in Modern Warfare 3’s Content Season for Call of Duty Elite.
Co-developed by Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software, Content Season is a collection of twenty new multiplayer maps and Special Ops missions released over a nine-month timeline. Overwatch is February’s debut, and the third title following January’s two titles Liberation and Piazza.
As indicated by its title, Overwatch’s setting is a multi-level, 13,000 square foot construction site at the top of a New York City high-rise. Players patter through penthouses, frag enemies from behind demolished walls, and face off from opposite sides of a central bridge that splits the battleground into mirroring halves. Weapons aren’t the only threats in this game—the absence of safety barriers along the bridge can mean a 70-story fall for soldiers who aren’t watching their step. Take a look at the gameplay below:
