Batman: The Telltale Series Season Finale Coming Next Week

Get ready to hang up your cape and batarang for a while, because the first part of Batman: The Telltale Series is coming to an next Tuesday on December 13.

The fifth and final episode, titled “The City of Light,” and will be available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3, iOS, and Android phones.

The City of Light focuses on the leader of Children of Arkham getting ready to take down the Wayne family name once and for all. Just like in the other episodes, your choices still affect what happens in this arc, so the fate of Gotham City and the Wayne family is resting on your back. Seems like a lot of pressure for just one bat boy. Your decisions from Episode 4: Guardian of Gotham will take you to “very different places” according to Telltale. Kind of ominous, but there’s less than a week to find out the magnitude of what you chose.

Batman: The Telltale Series

If you haven’t had a chance to jump into this strikingly different Batman experience, it’s your lucky day. Episode 1: Realm of Shadows just became free on Steam, and it’s a perfect excuse to try Telltale’s take of Batman. There was also a performance patch released alongside the freebie, and it has general performance improvements, more customization options, and an “auto-detect” mode for your best recommended settings. It cleans up the game, and gives you a free episode.

It’s important to note that this isn’t going to be the absolute end for Batman: The Telltale Series. There will also be four additional episodes that come included with the purchase of the Season Pass. There hasn’t been any word on what the four episodes might deal with, but at your journey as Batman won’t be coming to a complete stop. Keep your bat gear ready for when the next episodes come out.

Below is the full list of episodes, you can pick them up on all of the systems mentioned earlier:

Episode 1: Realm of Shadows – Available
Episode 2: Children of Arkham – Available
Episode 3: New World Order – Available
Episode 4: Guardian of Gotham – Available
Episode 5: City of Light – Coming December 13, 2016
