Yesterday, Inti Creates released a second trailer for Azure Striker Gunvolt 2. The sequel contains two playable characters: Gunvolt and his rival Copen.
Currently, Gunvolt 2 remains to be a Nintendo 3DS exclusive, though it is possible for the game to eventually release on PC as the original did. The sequel to 2014’s Azure Striker Gunvolt is set to launch on the Nintendo eShop in Japan on August 25th as well as North America and Europe on September 30th. Gunvolt 2 will cost our friends in Japan 1,960 yen and $14.99 in North America.
In addition, Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 shall launch physically on the Nintendo 3DS. Thanks to Inti Creates’ partnership with Yacht Club Games, Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack will launch simultaneously with the digital release. Currently only available in North America, Striker Pack contains both the original and sequel on one cart. Priced at $29.99, the Striker Pack is the perfect way to nab both games for those who missed out on Gunvolt.
Preorders haven’t gone up yet but retailers like Amazon, Gamestop and Target will be participating.
