ASUS Republic of Gamers has launched the first model in their all new XG series of gaming monitors designed for professional gaming and passionate gamers. The Strix XG27VQ features 144Hz refresh rates and adaptive-sync technology for smooth game play.
The ROG Strix XG27VQ is a 27-inch FHD panel with an 1800R curve. The field of vision with this curve allows users to be immersed fully within games or watching content. The 144Hz refresh rate eliminates lag which is perfect for first person shooters. The monitor also features ASUS exclusive Extreme Low Motion Blur, which eliminates motion blur for a sharper image.
The new model continues the ROG design with a streamlined design and tripod stand. Additionally it comes with the Aura RGB lighting on the back that provides customized back lighting to your gaming setup. The monitor also comes with GamePlus software for in-game enhancements. The crosshair overlay provides four different options, while a timer on the left keeps track of elapsed gaming time.
The ASUS ROG Strix XV27VQ is available now at retailers for $349. The monitor is a great addition to your gaming setup. If you need any help in deciding monitors, check out our gaming monitor guide for more options.
