Airtight Games Closes Its Doors

Airtight Games studio has shut down. This was the studio that brought you Quantum Conundrum, Dark Void and Soul Fjord.

The news comes as a bit of a shock since the studio had just released Murdered: Soul Suspect about a month ago with Square Enix.

Despite the studio’s closing, paying a visit to their website even shows that it is still up and running, with no mention of their decision to close their doors. Since closing their doors was very recent, it may take a few days to shut down their website as well.

Airtight Games had made layoffs in the recent past, but assured IGN that they were working on new, exciting projects. They had been around for ten years, opening back in 2004.

Geekwire dropped by Airtight Games‘ offices and observed that the offices have been shuttered with a sign on their doors that said “Office Equipment Blow Out Sale!” Geekwire even states that Airtight GamesE3 awards sat on an empty desk in the offices.
