SQUARE ENIX Announces PAX East Lineup and Events

PAX East is just around the corner, and as such, Square Enix has announced it’s plans for the expo.Square Enix is set to present a few of their games from April 11th to the 13th, as well as host some panels for fans to get a better understanding of some of the games being shown off and the company making the games.

The first game, Hitman Go, is a strategic board game. Don’t let that turn you off on this project. The game gets incredibly complex and takes a lot of brain power to complete the missions with perfect scores. Each mission is just a little square slice of a level in a traditional Hitman game, but because the game is turn-based, it’s not exactly like you’ll be passing missions in seconds. Rather, you’ll be spending a lot of time making mental moves and trying to figure out how you can get that damn suitcase, kill your target, and predict the moves of guards in order to make it out alive.

Second, we have Murdered: Soul Suspect. It’s a game, I’ve been looking forward to on the PS4. Of course, it’ll be launching on PC, Xbox One and last-gen consoles too. This game is almost too much new stuff to actually properly convey. In a game where your goal is to solve your own murder, you can expect a lot of supernatural elements in the game. If you’re going to PAX, make sure to make the panel for this game on April 11, from 6p.m. to 7p.m.

NOSGOTH: Vampire v.s. Human Action, the final game, is an insane PvP third-person game for PC. It’s in a closed beta testing state right now, but when the game comes out, it’s going to be free-to-play. Simply put, the game looks awesome. As humans, you run around a claustrophobic map, you know with tight corners and whatnot, and stick together with your team. When you, humans, stick together, you have a chance at survival, but as soon as you’re separated from the pack, you’ll only make a nice meal. With nothing more than your choice of different style of bow and a few other vampire-eliminating weapons. As the vampires, you’ll spend your time strategically planing how to pick off humans one at a time. Both races are pretty balanced, and while the vampires may be more brutish, they’re still vulnerable against a healthy team of humans. A panel for this game will be held on the 13th, from 12p.m. to 1p.m. And if you should want to check out the game before then, you can register into the paid beta here.

Square Enix seems to be packing for the event. If you’re on the East Side, and think any of these games is a little interesting, make sure to find out more about these games in hands-on sessions and the like.
