Expectations were certainly exceeded this year, with such blockbusters as Elder Scrolls V, Forzas 4, Mass Effect 3, Uncharted 3, and jizz-producing news as Kratos’s entrance into Mortal Kombat, Prototype 2, and the CG preview Batman Arkham City….good God let me just stop and get to the news:

- Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim revealed, out November 11, 2011
- Yup, Kratos is in Mortal Kombat for the PlayStation 3
- Mass Effect 3 announced, it’s coming holiday 2011
- Resistance 3 looks great in action
- Guillermo del Toro and THQ reveal Insane, out in 2013
- Prototype 2 is a thing, and it’s out in 2012
- Valve is awesome at making trailers, here’s a Portal 2 one
- Forza 4 looks fast, may support Kinect
- SSX: Deadly Descents announced… YES!
- Uncharted 3 looks, not surprisingly, totally awesome
