Today Capcom confirmed one of the new multiplayer modes for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City called Heroes Mode. In Heroes Mode, players will be competing in two teams of four as either heroes or villains. However, nothing is as simple as it seems in Raccoon City.
Each team will compete against a triple threat. Yes, you heard me right – a triple threat. Not only will you be competing to defeat the opposing team, but you will also need to survive the zombies, and Umbrella’s Bio-Organic Weapons.
Not only has Capcom enticed us with this new game twist, but they have also added another great feature in character selections. Each character is hinted to have their own unique abilities, with the heroes including: Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield, and Jill Valentine. While the villains include: Hunk, Ada Wong, Nicholai Ginovaef, and Lone Wolf.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will be available for Playstation 3, and Xbox 360 on March 20, 2012 in North America and the PC version will follow.
