Simplify Streaming With Elgato Stream Deck

Elgato Stream Deck

Elgato, which has been synonymous with streaming due to their massively popular Game Capture HD and HD 60, is looking to expand its reach even further. The company announced the Elgato Stream Deck, which provides a 15-button keypad to simplify the streaming process.

The Elgato Stream Deck will integrate a host of tools that are vital to the streaming community. Game capture, OBS, Twitch, Twitter, and more are mapped into the system which can automatically detect scenes, media, and audio sources, so controls are just a finger away. This would eliminate the hot key mapping most streamers have for a variety of functions to get streams up and running.

Based on what has been shown off, the ease that Stream Deck works is pretty impressive. With a whole host of functionality including posting a Twitter link on a page to announcements that you are online, as well as customizations for your stream with GIF’s, images and audio clips. Actions can be pre-set into keys so you will always have what you need and won’t need to shuffle around functions mid-stream to accomplish what you want.

The Elgato Stream Deck is currently set to ship to retailers in May for $149.95, and I think you will have a hard time finding anything as perfectly designed for the streaming platform as what Elgato has come up with. It’s only a matter of time before all your favorite streamers start sporting it, so you might as well jump in on the ground floor because this looks to be an invaluable tool in the streaming

arsenal.
