Loot Crate is Launching Loot Gaming This Spring

At a live panel at PAX South, Loot Crate announced a new monthly subscription product called Loot Gaming.

The subscription-based product was created with avid gamers in mind. Loot Gaming is a monthly mystery box subscription that will feature a wide variety of collectibles, apparel, and accessories from various video game universes.

For $25 a month, Loot Gaming’s themed crates will feature a curated selection of items from various video game brands. The crates themselves will feature products that are directly related to indies, AAA, and retro titles. Each crate will feature 4-6 premium items, most of which will be exclusively manufactured for Loot Crate. In addition, it will include a game manual style booklet and exclusive collector’s Loot Gaming pin. In addition, Loot Gaming will occasionally include digital items such as downloadable games, digital items or in-game DLC.

Matthew Arevalo is the co-founder of Loot Crate and he had some things to say about the product line.

“We know that our audience loves video games, which is exactly why we wanted to offer an experience that extends beyond the joystick, keyboard or controller. Loot Gaming will give people the chance to own a piece of those gaming universes and join an active community of fans who love those same great franchises. We’re working alongside developers and publishers to create exclusive products for Loot Gaming crates, and they are just as excited as we are to bring these universes and characters into the real world.”

Loot Crate has relationships with some very popular video game and entertainment companies. Some of these include Disney, Warner Bros., Nintendo, Activision, Minecraft, and Bethesda. It will be interesting to see what’s in store with this new gaming based product lineup.
