Original Resident Evil Being Remastered

Capcom has announced that it is remastering its classic survival horror game Resident Evil for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, and PC.

The remastering will be based on the 2002 Gamecube remake of the original 1996 Resident Evil. It will include various new and old control schemes, 5.1 surround sound support, and will run in 1080p on PC, Xbox One and PS4. It will also include the choice between classic 4:3 ratio and 16:9 widescreen.

Resident Evil is due out in Early 2015 and will be available via digital download on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, and PC
