Remember this rumor from last week? Turns out that it is indeed true: you can get a brand new Xbox 360 with Kinect and a 4GB hard drive for $99.
Oh wait, there’s that catch: this comes with a 2 year contract to Xbox Live for $14.99 a month. When you total everything together, the total price comes to $458.76.
You’re currently able to pick up Xbox 360 and Kinect bundles for $299, with a year of Xbox Live for $50 a piece, coming together for $399 total, or $58.76 less than if you picked up the new offer.
All that being said, despite losing money in the long run, this is a pretty nifty way to pick up a new console for dirt cheap up front.
As a reminder, this is only available through the Microsoft Store. Your local Microsoft Store, to be exact. All 21 of them.
