The Killzone fans have spoken, and they feel as though Guerilla Games left out some key features that could have greatly improved the overall gameplay of Killzone 3. Here is a list of some essential features that we feel should be added or re-implemented into the game. If you feel like anything was left out , feel free to comment below and we’ll update it! 25 Needed Features Features for Killzone 3
- Weekly Honor Badges– why on Earth was this removed?
- Clan Messaging– it was a great way to keep in touch with clan mates.
- Some form of customization for clan games.
- The ability to schedule matches so we don’t get uneven matches.
- Ability to assign Officers to organize new recruits, etc.
- The deep stat tracking from K2, but with more– this is a sequel, so logically you should be tracking even more, not giving us a reduced list of tracked stats! This goes for both single player and multiplayer, single player doesn’t even have any stat tracking except for best times and deaths.
- The replay mode from Killzone2.com! Again, it’s a sequel, so where is a fully 3D theater mode like we see in so many other games? Even if you can’t add it in, why not bring back the 2D replay mode from K2?It was allowed for studying clans, catching cheaters, why remove this?
- The ability to run while I look at the scoreboard. Why remove this after, you patched it in for Killzone 2? I don’t understand.
- Custom Soundtrack– I want nothing more than to blast my tunes and play some Killzone 2, but again, a featured that is completely removed for the excuse that “it couldn’t fit onto the disc”? Or was it that they didn’t have enough time?
- Bring back custom games, it has to have more options! We can’t even party up with friends as much. Please Guerilla Games, give us more options like turning off grenades, pistols only, no rpgs, etc.
- Spawn Grenades for Custom Games? Yeah, not happening, but one can hope.
- The DLC weapons like boltgun and flamethrower. At least in custom games, I can understand balancing issues with these if classes could run with it
- The ability for Engineers to plant more than one Turret, or beef them up a bit
- The awesome User Interface from K2
- The squad system, or at least the ability to see my friends’ status on the HUD
- Spawn on squad leader
- The ability to see where the medic is!
- Longer down times when killed, people don’t wait for medics or spawn back so quickly. This would be necessary IMO if you bring back spawn on Squad especially
- The ability to whip out the medic gun freely, along with the awesome range, along with the freedom to choose who I revive (when surrounded by lots of injured players) and the ability to use it as a weapon!
- The non-scoped STA-14 rifle?
- How about the “aura” of medics? Can we make that something they turn “on”? Because nobody seems to know about it, and it sounds dumb to stand beside a medic to instant-heal without seeing this “aura”
- Bring back the Sentry drones’ ability to stay around even after the player dies. Just like with C4. Except, C4 should disappear after you die.This way players could use their rockets for actually taking out the sentries instead of taking me out in Guerilla Warfare.
- Suicide Point Deduction– Bring this back to punish those careless rocket spammers who run into enemy filled rooms and kamikaze themselves!
- Proximity Chat, great for clan matches, hell make it a skill or ability for a class if you’d like
- Sway for Snipers– I know it’s because the Move players don’t have sway and it is a balance for Dual Shock 3 users, but sniping feels a little too easy with no sway and one hit kills practically anywhere on the body
