More video of Sega’s upcoming open-world action-adventure game, Yakuza 5. This time it’s a 17 minute gameplay demo of the Japanese version of Yakuza 5.
Yakuza 5 picks up where Yakuza 4 left off and is fairly similar to the previous games in the Yakuza series, but includes improvements and changes. The Adventure Mode and Combat Mode return, but are interconnected much more seamlessly than in previous games. “Dramatic” game play controls have been touted, to keep up with the upped tempo of the game. With a bigger map and bigger cities to explore, Yakuza 5 is said to feature the greatest volume of play spots across cities in the series’ history.
Yakuza 5 is slated for a release date of December 6th for the PlayStation 3 in Japan. A North American release has not been announced at this time.
