CES 2012: ShadowGun: DeadZone Brings Console-Like Multiplayer to Mobile Platforms

ShadowGun, a game that made it on my personal must-have list for Android tablet owners, made waves at this year’s Consumer Electronics Expo with the developers, Madfinger Games, revealing details about the multiplayer follow up, ShadowGun: DeadZone. “Each of us loves multiplayer games such as Battlefield or Modern Warfare 3, and we wanted to bring that same console gaming experience to mobile devices,“ said the Madfinger team, and believe me when I say if anyone has the ability to do so it’ll be these guys.

By focusing on mobile platforms – such as smartphones and tablets – MADFINGER Games is creating the most advanced handheld multiplayer game in the market, optimized for superb performance and offering the same quality expected from console gaming systems. With SHADOWGUN: DEADZONE, Madfinger is expanding the multiplayer entertainment potential of smartphones, iOS devices and tablets. SHADOWGUN: DEADZONE will support Android mobile devices powered by the NVIDIA Tegra mobile processor, and will be featured on NVIDIA‟s Tegra Zone app, where consumers can find optimized games for Tegra-powered super phones and tablets.

ShadowGun: DeadZone will be available in the next few months but you can get ShadowGun  in the Android Marketplace and iTunes store today.
