Press Start: This is What We Played

Welcome to Press Start and Happy December! This is where we talk about the video games that we here at The Game Fanatics are playing.

Greg:

Picked up Far Cry 3 at the beginning of the week. Starting to wonder why we ever switched away from bows and arrows. Also got Tales of Xillia. My first JRPG in a long time, but I’m really enjoying it. Fun combat, interesting characters and good music and visuals.

Ben:

Finished up the new Zelda. It’s fantastic; especially since I love Zelda puzzles and that’s basically what the whole game is. Then I started playing Super Mario 3D World and it’s a lot of fun. Every level is different and super creative. Nintendo really outdid themselves by putting these two games out on the same day. I also started playing Ys: Memories of Cleceta for the Vita. It’s a fun action RPG that works perfectly for the handheld.

Jen:

I’ve been spending a lot of my time racing in Forza 5. Amazing game! I love and hate the Driveatars. Some of those that I race against are very aggressive.
