Press Start | This is What We Played

Welcome to Press Start! This is where we talk about the games we’ve been playing this past week and share them with your fanatical fans! Happy Thanksgiving! Hope everyone has a safe holiday and much respect to those who cannot be home for the holiday and to those who are stuck working it.

Matt A.:

I’m currently playing through Diablo III on Hell difficulty. It’s aptly named. I was a big fan of the first Diablo back on PS1, and I’m definitely not disappointing by this sequel.

Ben:

I’m loving the Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. It’s exactly what Zelda games should be. The new additions are great and the nostalgia with LttP is great as well. It could very well be my game of the year. Everyone needs to play it. Forget next-gen, it’s dumb and doesn’t have Zelda on it.

Charles:

With the purchase of an Xbox One I’ve been playing nothing but NBA 2K14 and Ryse, as well as dabbling in Xbox Fitness…which is a great workout tool.

Jen:

Just for giggles, I went back to Saints Row IV. I didn’t do much save for messing around and beating up aliens and humans alike with silly weapons. Then the next generation went into full swing with the release of the Xbox One. I had the chance to try out Just Dance 2014, which you can read about here. The real fun came with Killer Instinct and Forza 5. Killer Instinct is a bag of fun and retro nostalgia. I want more characters, like Spinal, and I should have them since I payed for the whole game. Forza 5 is beautiful. Amazing how the AI has been taken away and you get to now curse at your friends’ driveatar.
