Rumor: New Zealand Retailer Outs God of War IV

A New Zealand retailer called Mighty Ape has prematurely spilled the beans on God of War IV by posting a listing for the game on their website  with the projected release date of September 2012. There have been rumors circulating about the game being in development, but this is the first time we’ve heard a specific release date. We do know that SCE Santa Monica the developer’s behind God of War are working on Starhawk, but its safe to assume that the whole studio is not working on the game. It’s possible that we may hear more about the game at E3, but for now the only thing we can do is speculate. So lets take take this “revealing” with a grain of salt, and keep on moving. For anything gaming related stay tuned to The Game Fanatics.
