Xbox Series X|S Release Date and a Whole Lot More

Xbox Family

The worst kept secret in gaming, the Xbox Series S has finally been officially announced with a release date of November 10th 2020. We have to give props to Microsoft with how they used social media to react to this leak but this morning, Microsoft took control of the internet. They flooded our timelines with a ton of news that makes the next generation of console gaming look really bright.

Xbox Series S $299
Xbox Series X $499
Both Consoles release November 10th
Preorders go live September 22nd
Xbox All Access starting at 24.99/month
EA Access coming to Gamepass Ultimate this holiday

The main thing that this all says is that Xbox is here to provide an amazing value to the gamer. Gamepass Ultimate continues to provide the best value in gaming and with Xbox All Access, everyone will be able to experience next-gen gaming for an affordable price. The additions of Project xCloud and EA Access, becoming a Gamepass subscriber is a no brainer. On day one, gamers will have access to hundreds of new and backwards compatible games. If you think about the fact that most hardware will work with the new consoles, this is the cheapest console launch that many of us have experienced.

The Xbox Series S is a really aggressive move from the Microsoft camp. Many wondered if there was a place for the console since the all digital version of the PS5 had all the same specs as the disc based version. The reality is that the majority of the market is still playing on 1080p TVs or 1440p monitors. The ‘Inside of the Series S‘ video explains all the reasons for owning the console.

There is still a lot to digest here so stay tuned to The Game Fanatics for more news and opinions on the new Xbox consoles.
