The Xbox Elite Controller Get’s a Cheaper Version and Comes to the Design Lab

Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 Core

Xbox has announced a cheaper version of the Xbox Elite Controller in white. The Elite Controller 2 Core is the same great controller without the case, dock, and accessories with a new price of $129.99. Outside of the pristine white color, the controller is entirely the same. This base package includes the controller, charging cable, the thumbstick adjustment tool, and all of the base buttons that you would need to utilize the controller. If you decide down the road that you want the rest of the accessories for the Elite Controller 2, the Component Pack can be purchased for $59.99.

In addition to the Series 2 Core announcement, The Xbox Elite Series 2 will also be coming to Xbox Design Lab. There is no official date but you should be on the lookout for this to hit the lab this holiday season.

There are still some improvements and features that gamers are looking for when it comes to the base Xbox controller and the Elite Series 2 but a cheaper version of the more premium controller is a good start.
