Xbox and Bethesda Show the True Value of Gamepass – E3 2021

Xbox and Bethesda

For the second year in a row, we are experiencing E3 virtually but it looks many were able to iron out the kinks in their presentations. In fact, Xbox and Bethesda may have delivered one of their best presentations in years. With a showing of 30 games, 27 of which will be coming to Gamepass, the idea that Xbox doesn’t have games is a thing of the past. E3 2021 has been what Microsoft has been leading up to for years. Over the next few years, we are set to see all of the work and studio acquisitions start to pay off.

Bethesda started the show off in a big way by finally showing some in-engine footage of Startfield and confirming that the game would be exclusive to the Xbox ecosystem. We can look forward to playing this game in November of 2022. When it comes to the lineup for 2021, we can look forward to things like Flight Simulator coming to console, Psychonauts 2, Age of Empires IV, Forza Horizon 5, and Halo Infinite. For a full list of everything that was announced, check out the bottom of this article. If you want a more detailed view of all the games shown, you can hop over to the Xbox blog HERE.

With the changes that Phil Spencer has put in place over the years along with a stacked roster when it comes to game studios, the value of Gamepass cannot be denied. The next few years are looking really good for Xbox and their game studios. Can’t wait to see more from all of the studios that weren’t mentions this year.
