If you haven’t gone on the hunt with Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, now is your chance to do so with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition.
The Witcher 3 has been out for a little over a year now, but CD Projekt Red has only recently finished making extra content for this massive RPG adventure. People who haven’t jumped into the shoes of Geralt of Rivia will have a chance to live the whole experience start to finish with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition on August 30.
To recap all the DLC for everyone, Witcher 3 was quickly followed by weeks of free DLC which included a New Game + feature, additional Gwent cards, alternate outfits for main characters, and new quests and hunts for players to complete. In October 2015, the first expansion–Hearts of Stone–was released, which added even more quests centered around an immortal bandit. That wasn’t all for the legendary witcher, however, as Geralt traveled to the land of Toussaint for his final video game adventure in the May 2016 expansion, Blood and Wine. The expansions previously sold for $9.99 and $19.99, respectively.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition will cost $49.99 and will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 30. If you haven’t played the 150+ hour adventure yet, the Complete Edition will let you experience the whole thing without any extra downloads. This is extremely pertinent for new players, as most of the free DLC required a digital download to obtain.
In select territories, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition will also be sold as the “Complete Edition.”
