E3 2019 – Nintendo Direct All Trailers, Announcements, and Reveals

Nintendo has been on quite the roll since the launch of the Switch and year 3 looks to feature another formidable round of exclusives from the house that Mario built. From Animal Crossing to Banjo-Kazooie, here are all the trailers, details, and reveals from Nintendo’s E3 2019 Direct:

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Character Reveal: The Hero from Dragon Quest 11 – Summer 2019

The main character from Dragon Quest 11 joins the fight, as long rumored. Alt skins are heroes from the other Dragon Quest games and they feature some different moves, one with an MP bar for skills.

Dragon Quest 11: Tales of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition S – Sept 27

Doug Bower isn’t related to Bowser. That’s a relief.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 – 2019

Takes place in a hotel, which is not a mansion. Gooigi can slip through obstacles and for puzzles and coop. New ScareScraper Mode features a local or online coop dungeon tower.

Turn based strategy RPG!

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening – September 20, 2019

Dampé from Ocarina of Time is in the game, and from him players can create custom dungeons using pieces they’ve found and then complete them for rewards.

Trials of Mana – Early 2020

A brand new Mana game comes to the Switch. The 3 original Mana games are available right now via Collection of Mana.

Now includes crafting! Takes place on a deserted island where it appears you must clean things up and new people move there as you do. Online play is strongly alluded to but not explicitly detailed.
