Watch: Perception Coming To Haunt Your Dreams In May

Perception Logo

The Deep End Games has confirmed that Perception will launch on May 30.

Perception follows the story of blind protagonist Cassie as she unravels the truth behind her mysterious nightmares. Players will be forced to see the world like never before, by using the power of hearing. Cassie uses sounds and vibrations to “see” her surroundings. Players will guide Cassie as she uses her “extraordinary hearing and razor-sharp wits to unravel the mysteries of an abandoned estate” according to a press release.

As players solve puzzles and shed light on Cassie’s nightmares, the estate itself will change, revealing new mysteries. The search for the truth will also take her on an adventure that will transcended time itself. With a lack of weapons and powers for our heroine, players will have to use their wits to survive. While exploring the manor, Cassie is haunted by the ominous Presence. This ghostly force is constantly hunting her as she investigates the estate.

The Deep End Games’ staff have previously worked on BioShock and Dead Space, so horror is something they are familiar with. With Perception, they look to use their experience to develop a game that will leave a lasting impression on players.

Perception will be available digitally on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. To learn more about the game and Cassie be sure to check out the official website and Wiki Page.
