Watch: Injustice 2 Gear System Trailer

A new trailer detailing the Injustice 2 gear system has surfaced. It explains the perks and bonuses of customizing fighters towards your needs via stat boosts and additional moves.

The trailer shows off some killer skins as well as paint shaders to change the color scheme with each armor.

Ed Boon has spoken out regarding how these stat boosts will affect online gameplay and assured players that there will be balancing in effect as well as lobbies that turn off stats affected by gear.

While premium skins aren’t detailed in the trailer, they hold the ability to use a character from the roster but switch their appearance, voice, & super effects to cater towards that hero or villain. One example is being able to skin The Flash as his counterpart Reverse Flash.
