Ubisoft‘s Rainbow Six Siege is barreling full force towards its December 1st release date by releasing a series of live action trailers starring Idris Elba. In this Rainbow Six Siege live action trailer you can see Idris take on a more gritty character; standing atop a city building as if watching for the chaos that’s about to ensue; then cut to him in the middle of battle with a windblown trench coat (probably not best war attire).
You can see Idris Elba in four other Rainbow Six Siege live action trailers in which he waters down and showcases game mechanics with a cinematic atmosphere. The “Pinpoint Description” trailer where “Surprises don’t just wait around the corner, they’re behind the walls through the floor and above the ceilings.” The “Attack VS. Defend” which is precisely what it sounds like. The “Intimate Arenas” letting us know with Rainbox Six Siege you’re going to get off the battlefield and into the tight corners of estates, and finally “Unique Operators” where Idris takes us through a few of the many (20 to be exact) characters that all have different and unique abilities.
I’m very excited for Rainbow Six Siege.
