Turtle Beach Announces New Slate of Gaming Headsets | E3 2017

Turtle Beach STEALTH 700

Turtle Beach unveiled the latest entries in their product line as the company prepares to show them off at E3 this week. The most impressive of the new additions are the STEALTH 700 and STEALTH 600 series which offer wireless surround sound for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. In addition, the XO THREE for the XBox One and RECON 150 for the PlayStation 4 was announced.

The STEALTH 700 & 600 will be the first gaming headsets to be available at retail using Microsoft’s new Xbox wireless technology that connects directly to the console just like the wireless controller does. On PS4, the STEALTH 700 & 600 includes a wireless USB transmitter that connects to the console using the latest technology to deliver game audio and chat. For surround sound the STEALTH 700 on PS4 features DTS HeadphoneX surround sound to deliver 7.1 channel surround sound, while the STEALTH 600 for PS4 uses Turtle Beach Virtual Surround Sound.

Turtle Beach STEALTH 600

The STEALTH 700 headsets on both consoles also feature Active Noise-Cancellation to block out unwanted background noise and keep you fully immersed while gaming, and Bluetooth connectivity to stream music and take calls while gaming. Bluetooth also allows connection to the new Turtle Beach Audio Hub app where you can adjust a variety of settings, including Dynamic Chat Boost™ which increases incoming chat volume during loud gameplay, Mic Monitoring to avoid shouting at other players, as well as Audio EQ presets like bass and boost.

The STEALTH 700 & 600 series headsets are planned to launch in September 2017 at participating retailers for $99.95.

XO THREE

Similar in style to the XO FOUR STEALTH, the new XO THREE headset for Xbox One and the RECON 150 for the PS4 offer the same durable yet comfortable design with large 50mm speakers and high-sensitivity mic. The XO THREE and RECON 150 are planned to launch at participating retailers this July for $69.95 with the RECON 150 available only at Best Buy in the U.S.
