Throwback Thursday | Here's a Picture of Michael Jackson at E3

Michael Jackson and E3. Probably two things you’d never think of putting together in the same sentence if you weren’t talking about a dancing game. But folks, it happened back in the 90s.

Throwback Thursday Michael Jackson at E3 1995
Notice a young Phil Harrison?

Back in the 90s, a sighting such as this may have been rare, but the seeds were definitely planted. Music and video games began forming a union that would prove to be inevitable, and unbreakable, and birth crossovers the likes of Just Dance, to Pokemon Raps.

Usher even showed up to represent Dance Central 3 in 2012, albeit gamers did not appreciate the lack of games being made up for with a musical performance.

And Usher isn’t the only musician in the past few years to show up at E3. We even saw Childish Gambino this year at E3 2014.

To add to the list, Eminem was a huge name in the music industry to be attached to a gigantic name in the video game world. While he wasn’t at E3, one of his songs, Survival, was used to help promote the latest Call of Duty entry, Ghosts.

So here’s a Throwback Thursday, very relevant, and very chilling as we close out the final day of E3, just a few days before the passing of the King of Pop.
