There is Final Fantasy in your Final Fantasy: Lightning Returns Preorder DLC

Yesterday, Final Fantasy developer Square Enix announced that buyers who preorder Lightning Returns will receive a special DLC uniform. One that Final Fantasy veterans might have cause to get excited about. Buyers with the forethought to preorder will receive Cloud Strife’s classic “SOLDIER First Class” as seen straight from Final Fantasy VII.

The outfit DLC will also include Cloud Strife’s iconic weapon “The Buster Sword” in addition to all of the bits that make his costume unique, from shoulder pad, to belt, to baggy pants. It will even include his victory animation as well as extra abilities (that will be announced at a later date). The DLC will be available at launch from the Games Store on the Xbox Live online entertainment network for the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft and via PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3.

Sound too good to be true for all you diehard fans?
