The feature video shows off a little bit into the behind the scenes of the Star Trek video game, where it focuses heavily on co-op.
Star Trek is gushing with co-op elements, and the game allows friends to drop in and out of the game. Taking inspiration from such games as the Uncharted series, Star Trek will focus on exploration as you take your hand at controlling Kirk and Spock, which both play differently. Spock is more stealth while Kirk is the run and gun type.
Star Trek the video game will feature the voices of Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto as well as other actors from the reboot Star Trek movie, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, Zoe Saldana, and Karl Urban which will naturally add authenticity to the game and story.
The script of Star Trek has been written by the creative mind behind the God of War series, Marianne Krawczyk. With the help of those working on the movie, Star Trek the video game will be cannon, taking place between Star Trek and Star Trek into Darkness.
Star Trek will be released for the PC, Ps3 and XB360 video game systems. It will launch on April 23, weeks before the second Star Trek movie, Into Darkness, graces the silver screen.
