What We Played During Week 17

Welcome to Press Start (What We Played)! This is a weekly segment that dives into what we here at The Game Fanatics have played during this past week. What did you game?

Jake: I’m still playing SimCity. Gasp, shock, surprise, I know. Also, the Wii U added the Virtual Console, so I’m getting reacquainted with Super Mario World while I’ve watched the NFL Draft.

Jeff: More Jak & Daxter. Of all the games I have, I only seem able to play Jak & Daxter. There seems to be some righteousness to that, but I’m not sure.

Darrin: I finished up Injustice… Some of the S.T.A.R Labs missions are a bit ridiculous. Starting FarCry 3 now, and seeing the appeal already.

Jen: I dragged out my Ps2 dance pad and played some In the Groove this week. I also played a little bit of SWTOR and started playing Star Trek the video game. Look out for my review for Star Trek sometime this week.

SMBW Arnell: Playing Injustice. I agree with Darrin that some of the S.T.A.R. Labs missions are ridiculous. I could do without them. Other than that, BoomsDay. Trying out the Rayman Legends Challenges App. They’re pretty fun and can be tough in trying to be the best. Having daily challenges close is a good kick in the pants to get better to beat times/scores of others around the world before it ends. And now that the Wii U has their Virtual Console officially up, I downloaded Super Mario World. Went through that classic quickly and got 96 Star and saved Peach. My inner-child was flipping happy playing that game the whole time.
