Tales From the Borderlands Episode 4 Coming Next Week

Tales From the Borderlands Episode 4

Tales From the Borderlands Episode 4 is coming way, way sooner than other series entries, bringing the whole gang along for the ride.

Telltale Games is pushing out the next episode featuring Pandora’s finest, entitled Escape Plan Bravo, with new details on what Rhys and Fiona will be facing next. The gang gets to leave Pandora for this penultimate episode, heading to that big ‘H’ in the sky representing Hyperion’s headquarters. Their hope is that the final piece of Gortys, the lovable little – SLIGHT SPOILER – rascal, will be there and help them to a vault. Vallory, the gang’s captor from the last episode, seems to be breathing down their necks during this whole escapade.

Cue cheesy music during this Tales From the Borderlands Episode 4 moment. Anything will do.

In our review of Episode 3, we were not entirely blown away by the quality of the product. You can read about the specifics here, but this short turn-around may be detrimental to the bugs and rushed feelings found in that previous entry. Some interesting sub-plots, such as Handsome Jack’s suddenly helpful nature and finding out what happened to Vaughn, seem to be on track to resolution within Escape Plan Bravo.

Tales From the Borderlands Episode 4, it should be noted, is coming out months ahead of the pace of other episodes. Catch-A-Ride hit digital fronts at the end of June, making this break between episodes not even two months. Previous entries have seen upwards of a five month delay between them with the shortest interval until now still clocking in at over two months.

Tales From the Borderlands Episode 4 will release on Mac, PC, Steam, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on August 18. Xbox One and Xbox 360 copies will come on August 19 and iOS and Android device users can download beginning on August 20.
